Process of Selecting Your Puppy

My Golden Retrievers are bred to produce show dogs for persons and myself across the country.   You have the privilege of acquiring a puppy from the same litter that the future stars come from, and can keep up to date on the accomplishments of your dog's litter mates.

When you return your contract with your deposit and application letter, I will review your letter and determine whether we continue the process of selecting a suitable puppy.  If so,  you are entered in my book, dated at the time the deposit is received.  I honor reservations in the order that they are received.  I will then be sending you a confirmation packet.  Please read the entire contents, as this begins the education process.  Refer all questions directly to me.

Though pet puppies were not chosen as show dogs it does not in any way mean they are a lesser quality dog or that they are not pretty. These dogs are bred to the Golden Retriever Standard generation after generation. All are beautiful. My selections for show dogs are based purely on skeletal structure and their gait. Many times the puppy with the cutest face goes into a pet home because he/she may have too short of shoulder blades, too long of loin, etc.

When you pick up your puppy you will be given a packet containing feeding instructions and copies of the parent's hip, elbow, eye and heart reports.  You will also receive the pedigree of your puppy, the AKC application and photos of the parents.  Along with any additional material personal to your puppy.

Be assured I take very seriously what you want in a dog. I have no concern for having a home for any of these puppies. I am contacted by several people daily. My concern is to select the perfect match to ensure a secure home for each of these puppies.

Looking forward to a happy union for you as well.
